EHR and Meaningful Use

For the purpose of encouraging implementation of electronic health record (EHR) technology in the healthcare community, the ARRA Stimulus plan offers financial incentives to providers who deploy a certified EHR system and use it in a “meaningful” way. Under Meaningful Use criteria, providers are required to use the EHR for:

• e-Prescribing and other “meaningful” tasks
• Electronic exchange of patient health data
• Submission of clinical quality measures (CQMs)

Our Care360 EHR solution has been designed to enable Meaningful Use by physicians. Care360 EHR, version 2011.2, is 2011/2012 compliant and was certified as a Complete EHR on March 31, 2011, by the Certification Commission of eligible Health Information Technology (CCHIT®).*

**Meaningful Use ONC-ATCB Certified

This Complete EHR is 2011/2012 compliant and has been certified by, the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable certification criteria for eligible providers adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or guarantee the receipt of incentive payments. Quality measures certified are all 44 Eligible Provider measures.
