Thomas Wagner

Chief Technology Officer

Thomas Wagner, Chief Technology Officer for MedPlus, Inc., joined the company in 1999 as Vice President, Strategic Planning. In this position, Mr. Wagner was primarily responsible for technology assessments, product research, market trends and competitive analysis.

Mr. Wagner brings more than 12 years of experience with software development companies. He came to MedPlus from DiaLogos Inc., previously a majority-owned subsidiary of MedPlus. He served for more than two years as the Chief Technology Officer at DiaLogos. Prior to that position, Mr. Wagner was the Director of Advanced Research and Development with Cincom Systems Inc. where he developed a product that was later voted among the top 10 products of the year by Client-Server Tools Bulletin.

In 2008, Mr. Wagner was appointed to the CCHIT (Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology) Interoperability Expert Panel where he shares his domain knowledge in the lab and medication fields. In this role he provides input on policy direction and future certification requirements.

Mr. Wagner received his BS degree in Computer Science from Northern Kentucky University.
