Albert A. Tate

Vice President, Diagnostics Services Group

Albert Tate has been with Quest Diagnostics® Incorporated, and its acquired laboratories, since 1976. In 2004, Mr. Tate was assigned to the MedPlus subsidiary as Vice President of Diagnostic Services Group where he is responsible for analysis and development of all functionality for the Laboratory Orders & Results portions of the Care360™ product suite. Mr. Tate is also responsible for providing validation and verification services to all product development lines at MedPlus.

Mr. Tate has over 30 years of Health Care Information Technology experience and has served in a variety of management positions at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. Recent assignments include management of regional field IT and responsibility for all external customer connectivity projects. In 2001, Mr. Tate was responsible for delivering Quest Diagnostics Incorporated first Web based B2B solution - LO&R. In 2002, LO&R, was awarded First Place by International Data Corporation (IDC) in the category of International Innovators.

Mr. Tate received his BS degree in Medical Technology from the Pennsylvania State University.
