Keith Johnson

General Counsel

Keith Johnson joined MedPlus in 2007 as General Counsel, and also serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for the company. He brings with him a strong background in technology licensing, intellectual property, and commercial law.

Prior to joining MedPlus, Keith was most recently with the legal department at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where he oversaw the legal aspects of the technology commercialization efforts for the hospital. Prior to his time at Children's, Keith was an attorney in the prominent Cincinnati law firm of Taft, Stettinius & Hollister, focusing his practice primarily in the areas of intellectual property, technology licensing, and e-commerce. .

In 2006, Keith was selected as one of the Cincinnati Business Courier’s “Forty Under 40” which recognizes young professionals for their achievements and their potential for future success. He is a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association, and has been a frequent speaker on legal topics.
Johnson received his BA degree from Transylvania University in Lexington, and graduated Order of the Coif from the Vanderbilt Law School.
