Steven D. HerzVice President, Product Portfolio ManagementSteven D. Herz joined MedPlus in January 2001 and is responsible for managing the organizations project portfolio. He ensures that all new product development work is aligned to the corporate strategy, goals, and objectives and the portfolio is balanced to optimize risk versus benefits. Mr. Herz has 8 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry and over 12 years of experience with software development companies. He comes to MedPlus from LabPortal where he served as the Vice President of Product Development for over 3 years. In that role he managed the definition, design, and development of LabPortal’s web-based solutions. Prior to LabPortal, Mr. Herz served as Director of Applications Development for American Medical Laboratories managing definition, design, development and support of all operational and customer facing systems. Both LabPortal, and American Medical Laboratories have been acquired by MedPlus’ parent company, Quest Diagnostics. Mr. Herz received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from University of Connecticut and Masters of Science in Engineering from the University of Illinois. |
