Amy Seltz Avera

Vice President, Human Resources

Amy Seltz Avera has been with MedPlus since November of 1992. In 2001, Ms. Avera was named Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to MedPlus, Ms. Avera was the Personnel Manager for Snelling Personnel Services and worked as an Employment Coordinator and Assistant Recruiter for Kings Island Family Entertainment Center.

Ms. Avera was selected as one of the Cincinnati Business Courier’s “Forty Under 40” which recognizes young professionals for their achievements and their potential for future success. In addition, Ms. Avera was nominated for a Health Care Heroes Award for innovation in benefit plans. She is also an active member of the Greater Cincinnati Human Resource Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.

Ms. Avera has a BS in Business from Indiana University and an MBA from Xavier University. Ms. Avera is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by the Society for Human Resource Management. In addition, she has also earned a Certificate in Employee Benefits Law and an Advanced Certificate in Employment Law.
