ChartMaxx Instructor

 

Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for teaching customer classes in the features and operations of software products.  ChartMaxx training sessions are “Consultative Workshops” that involve bringing to the table broader healthcare experience to assist students in determining how to best customize ChartMaxx for their environment and how to integrate it into their operations.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Conduct classroom based training sessions for adult students, on software subject matter.
• Conduct webex based training sessions for adult students, on software subject matter.
• Training material development and revisions in a range of media print production, electronic production and soon to be web based.
• Contribute to team based assignments in the delivery of second tier customer support issues
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Adult education process skills
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Interviewing skills
• Curriculum design and training material preparation skills
• Training material preparation using electronic tools other than just Word, e.g., FrameMaker, Design.A.Course, Encore, ROBOhelp,
• Process analysis skills (preferably in the health care industry).

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience as a trainer, in the software industry
• 3 to 5 years’ curriculum writing and tutorial design skills with portfolio sample
• 3 to 4 years’ experience in a customer support environment
• Ability to travel to customer sites for week training sessions, up to 25% annual travel

Samples of work product will be requested during the interview process.
