Sales Support Representative

Job Summary:

Assists sales team in preparing quotes, contracts, RFP/RFI responses and demonstrating all MedPlus products for potential hospital customers. Responsible for maintaining all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations as well as maintaining sales demonstration tools and applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute lead generation plan for each Sales Rep
Manage outside telesales firm used for lead generation
Preparing new system quotes and proposals for sales reps
Assisting with responses to RFI / RFP requests
In-house and on-site demonstrations to hospital personnel of MedPlus products
Maintaining and developing demonstration systems, tools, and documentation
Ability to stay current on all MedPlus applications and hardware configurations
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to utilize prior hospital experience to match MedPlus’ products with the hospital’s needs
Ability to demonstrate, position and discuss software applications in front of large groups
Ability to work professionally and cooperatively with many different people at various levels both internally and externally to accomplish principal responsibilities
Ability to understand and configure high end software applications and UNIX hardware configurations

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 1 year Hospital Information Systems or relevant Information Systems experience required
College Degree
Prior sales, training or presentation experience preferred
Proficient in the use of Excel and other MS Office applications
May require up to 30% travel
