Lead Integration Engineer

 

Job Summary:

Lead team of Integration Services Engineers in all aspects of interface development from analysis to support using standard development tools and methodologies. Works extensively with customers to manage expectations, develop specifications/requirements, ensure quality deliverables and meet project timelines.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Work extensively with client to gather specifications for integration of Care360/Clinical Portal and the client information system.
  • Use the specifications to design and code integration applications using the appropriate tools.
  • Implement integration applications with customers assuring successful integration of Care360/Clinical Portal with the client information system.
  • Provide technical expertise during Care360/Clinical Portal sales process to accurately identify development effort.
  • Generate percent completions and revenue forecasts.
  • Facilitate Integration presentations at customer training classes.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of team reporting.
  • Quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Mentoring of new team members.
  • Primary point of contact for customers regarding interface related tasks and issues. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High energy level, balanced sense of urgency, creativity, adaptability, decisiveness, and ability to work hard under pressure with limited oversight.
  • Must have an understanding of application development methodology, knowledge of a multi-tier development environment, and relational database structure and theory.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff and customers.
  • Ability to interface well with users, technical staff and management at all levels within Medplus and customer organizations.
  • Ability to lead and mentor others to achieve measurable objectives.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated aptitude and desire for learning new technologies.
  • Healthcare integration experience desired.
  • Experience with middleware applications preferred.
  • Ability to manage development efforts across multiple customers.
  • Experience with Client/Server architecture.

Ideal Candidate will possess experience with:

  • Project Management
  • HL7, XML
  • TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP(S)
  • Oracle, MySQL
  • JCAPS
  • Java
  • SeeBeyond’s (Formerly STC) DataGate or e*Gate. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent on-the-job experience is preferred.
  • Minimum four (4) years working experience (experience with equivalent products may be considered)  

Position requires relocation to Cincinnati Area.

Limited travel may be required.
