Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for performing certain general accounting functions including processing vendor invoices, vendor payments, maintaining vendor account information. Month end duties include reconciliations of accounts payable to general ledger and preparation of other month end accruals and reports.

Principal Responsibilities:

Ensure that all incoming invoices are matched to purchase orders and proper verification of discrepancies between purchase order and invoice
Accurately code invoice to proper general ledger accounts
Works with management to obtain proper approval of invoices received
Enter invoices into accounting system
Select invoices for payment and complete check run weekly
Release expense payments processed by Expense Auditor
Perform month end close duties applicable to Accounts Payable
Prepare and distribute vendor 1099 forms for year end
Provide effective customer service to all MedPlus employees by responding to inquiries in a timely fashion
Other duties as assigned.

Excellent time management and organizational skills
Must have strong computer skills

Job Qualifications:

3 to 5 years related experience required.
