Hospital Solutions Specialist

 

 

Job Summary

This role is the subject matter expert for ChartMaxx sales and marketing. This position is responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of hospital business processes. Additional responsibilities include developing ChartMaxx product, customer, competitive and market intelligence for ChartMaxx and related solution offerings (such as Enterprise Portal, eForms, OCR and Business Intelligence).

Principal Responsibilities

Sales Support:

  • Support or lead sales presentations to prospects and customers by providing in-depth product demos and product positioning.
  • Provide demos in-person at prospect locations or via webex.
  • Provide sales training and education.
  • Assist in creation of sales tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop whitepapers and case studies to support the market development efforts.
  • Provide product demos at all national trade shows and as needed, at regional trade shows.

Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

  • Assist technical and requirements staff with collection of requirements information for new product development and participate in the enhancements prioritization process.
  • Support the development and execution of ChartMaxx strategic positioning.

Competitive Analysis/Market Segmentation:

  • In collaboration with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, and PSG:
  • Maintain competitive knowledge and communicate information to key constituents.
  • Identify strategic product/market opportunities.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to manage large presentations and command and control an audience of varying hierarchical levels.
  • Ability to translate market trends and customer needs into product requirements.
  • Quantitative business process and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Work effectively in a cross functional, matrix environment.
  • Self-starter.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.

Minimum Requirements:

  • RHIA or HIM Subject Matter Expert.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience conducting live, group presentations at the C-Suite level and at the departmental level.
  • Experience with hospital/acute care software such as document management and imaging in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience with ChartMaxx and/or experience with products like McKesson Horizon Patient Folder, Hyland Software OnBase, 3M ChartView/ChartScan (SoftMed), ChartOne ChartVault, Streamline Health accessANYware, etc.
  • Knowledge of business processes in hospital/IDN Registration, Patient Financial Services and Health Information Management departments.
  • BS degree preferably in business.

Must be willing to travel a minimum of 50% of the time; travel may be 85% of the time.
