ShareAccount Specialist
Job Summary:
The Account Specialist is responsible for sales support of the Physician Technology Solutions sales team. The Account Specialist will leverage all available sales, sales support and operational resources between the MedPlus and Quest Diagnostics organizations, with special emphasis on the team members aligned to specific territory, to achieve IT sales objectives. This is a healthcare technology sales support position and will benefit from an understanding of the healthcare IT industry and physician practice workflow.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Support regional team of Physician Technology Solutions to achieve IT regional sales objectives
- This includes Technology Sales Director, Technology Account Executives and Technology Sales Consultants
- Build and manage relationship between Sales, Marketing and Operations as well as other teams as needed to facilitate sales process and prepare client for training
- Maintain and report Sales Metrics for region
- Manage special projects as needed
- Demonstrate Care360 solutions to prospective clients
- Assist with New Hire process for new sales reps in supported territory
- Assist Sales reps with territory alignment and assignments in CRM tool
- Provide and participate in the collection of Voice of Customer feedback for MedPlus product direction and strategy. This will include working with clients to establish testimonials and references.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous experience in sales, support or operations preferably in the healthcare IT segment
- Understanding and experience with project management
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
- Ability to work with sales, marketing, operations, development and executive teams
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent on the job experience
- 1-2 years experience with Microsoft Office solutions with focus on Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- 1-2 years experience in sales, sales support or related field
